Spotlight Theaters began as a community service project, with the first location opening in Warsaw, New York, in Nov 2013. It filled a void left by three previous closures in that location.
Thanks to the enthusiastic support of the community, the Spotlight Theater circuit quickly grew, adding a second location in Hornell, NY in December 2014. By October 2023, they'd expanded further, with new locations in Corning and Hudson, New York.
